This Is How To Recognize The Love Of Your Life: You Made A Pact Long Before You Were Born

How to Perceive and Experience a Soul Mate

Individual definitions of a soul mate may vary, but they are commonly thought to be a human being who shares a deep, inherent, Universal connection with you. The relationship could involve compatibility, love, affection, care, and spirituality, but by no means does it need to involve all of these characteristics. It has been written that when a person finds a soul mate, they experience a sense of peace like they never have before.

Soul mates are said to energize each other’s auras, perhaps due to their Universal and ancient connections. As per Greek mythology, “humans were originally created with four arms, four legs and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves.” Indeed, finding your soul mate can enhance your life significantly, but losing a soul mate can be equally as devastating. Please read the list below so you can spot a soul mate quickly and do whatever you can to keep them in your life.

#1: Two identities, one world.

According to Dr. Carmen Harra, “Soulmates recognize that they are two parts of the same whole, and no outside influence or external matter can break that bond.”

#2: Intense calmness.

Dating expert Tracey Steinberg—author of Flirt For Fun & Meet The One—outlines the deep sensation of calmness that people experience when they meet their soul mate: “You feel confident that your partner is with you for the long haul.  No matter what happens in your lives, you both agree that you are teammates and in it together. Your inner voice tells you that you are in a healthy relationship. You trust each other, feel confident and comfortable around each other and feel safe discussing challenging topics in a mature way.”

#3: Genuine appreciation.

When one touch from another human being gives you chills, goosebumps, and an electric charge all at once, then every second spent with that person is magical. These feelings and emotions really can’t be expressed in words, but they definitely seem metaphysical.

#4: Shared morals and beliefs.

Harra believes that, “A soulmate relationship doesn’t necessarily mean both partners always share the same views, but that their overall goals and ambitions match. More diminutive opinions will differ, but soulmates generally have the same virtues and values and see the world through a similar lens.”

#5: Support and energy.

Kailen Rosenberg of the matchmaking company The Love Architects argues that, “A soulmate isn’t always wrapped in the perfect package, physically or in terms of life circumstances—nor does it mean that the relationship will come without challenge. Yet, the difference is that the life circumstances and the difficult challenges are a strengthening power that becomes the glue that keeps you together through the difficult times and helps each of you become your most authentic self.”
