This is what an Aurora Borealis looks like from Space

The breathtaking images of the Aurora Borealis phenomenon have been posted on a twitter account belonging to one of NASA’s astronauts.

NASA astronaut Jeffrey Willaims shared a set of breathtaking images on his Twitter account from space.

Actually, he posted da video of the Aurora Borealis phenomenon as it is seen from space, a unique view high above our planet that only a few lucky people have managed to observe, Astronaut Willimas being one of them.

Interestingly, NASA also shared a number of fascinating images of the Aurora Borealis phenomenon on Jupiter captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, a couple of days before NASA’s Juno spacecraft made its way to our solar system’s largest planet.

The video posted online by Williams was accompanied by a message to all earthlings:

“Some celestial aurora to brighten your Sunday.” wrote Willimas who is currently aboard the international space station.

Just like many other astronauts who have had the opportunity to call the International Space Station their home for a short period of time, Williams has shared countless images from space on his Twitter account.

One of the most recent images captured by Williams was the Crescent moon rising through a subtle display of noctilucent clouds.

That view forms the International Space Station is surely priceless.

Currently, astronauts on board the International Space Station are researching how living in space affects human eyes and brains.

Two astronauts are prepping up for a spacewalk that will take place in mid-August to install a  new docking port on the Harmony module for the International Space Station.

The International Space Station is a habitable artificial satellite located in low Earth Orbit. Its first component was sent into space in 1998 and the International Space Station is currently the largest artificial body to orbit out planet. The ISS can often be seen with the naked eye from Earth.

The International Space station used as a microgravity and space environment research laboratory in which crew members from different countries participate and conduct experiments in biology, human biology, physics, astronomy, meteorology, and other fields.
