You’ve already heard that cancer thrives in the human body when it becomes acidic. But did you know how to check if your body for acidity?
For our bodies to function well, the pH values should remain around 7.0 to 7.4, though there’s some allowable range involved.
The mouth, pharynx, and esophagus pH 6.8, which is slightly acidic. For a healthy stomach, the pH should be extremely acidic at 1.3. The small intestine pH resembles that of the healthy bodily fluids. And in the colon, it ranges between 5.5 and 7.
These numbers are substantial because as Dr. Otto Warburg first discovered, acidity contributes to cancerous cell growth.
If your pH is not balanced, digestive problems can result, and your body cannot absorb the nutrients from the food you eat, which can make you feel regularly tired. Blood pressure, cholesterol, insulin levels, body weight, and immune system function, are all affected by fluctuations in pH levels.
Look at the signs and symptoms of acidosis below, do you have any?
- Dysfunction of the cerebrum of the brain which may progress to coma if there is no intervention
- Feeling tired
- Flapping tremor
Luckily, it’s not hard to test your pH levels. What you need is litmus strips, which you can get from the pharmacy or a health food store. Then, you check your saliva and urine each morning and then track it every day to compare values. Your saliva should stay between 7 and 7.4 all day and morning urine should be between 6 and 6.5.
To alkalize your body is also easy. You need to focus on your diet and lifestyle. Some people might require specialist support and guidance, such as the use of alkaline minerals. Cesium chloride, germanium, rubidium and other alkalizing minerals can be used to alkalize the body.
Eating fresh fruits, nuts, vegetables, and seeds will help your body to keep alkalinized. The natural food pH level does not significantly indicate the effect it will have on the body. For example, limes and lemons are known to have an alkaline effect on the body, despite their initial (citric) acidity, so it’s a great idea to squeeze lemons in your water and drink it before a meal.
Also, stress levels can affect your pH levels. So focus on doing the things that you most enjoy and keep your stress levels down as much as possible. Try to see the positive side of every situation instead of looking into the dark side. Sleep is also essential. In other words, rest well, eat well, and exercise will do miracles for both the body and mind.
