There’s something that is almost down-right magical about reading your horoscope.  You’re sitting there, on your phone, in the waiting room or the office lunch room, and you notice somewhere in someone’s feed that they’ve posted about their zodiac sign’s predictions for the day.  You can’t help but feel curious, so you click on the link, and you find yourself searching for your sign.

Wait, was I a Capricorn or a Pisces?

Oh, right, a Taurus.

And then you read what it has to say, and everything just seems to make sense.  Like little puzzle pieces slipping into place, your brain says, “Yeah, I am supposed to be here today.  And I was supposed to miss that green light on the way here this morning.  And I should go get that drink with that woman from next door.”

Suddenly, your whole day has changed, just because you read a few sentences that happened to open up your mind to your “true” self.

But what if you want to know a bit more?  Like how your sign actually operates and how it pertains to that special someone you have a crush on?  Are you two “compatible”, as they say?  Is there anything you should watch out for in your habits or their’s?

Here’s a bit of a rundown that may just offer up more insight into what to look out for, and what to keep in mind.  We’ll start with Aires, as they are traditionally the first in line for the zodiacal world:

Aries-March 20-April 19: 

Considered a hot-blooded, and strongly willed sign, Aries men and women tend to take charge in any given situation.  They are the ultimate “alphas”, and will stand up for what they believe in. They are up for most anything, and typically willing to try things at least once, if not again and again.  Beware any behaviour that seems sneaky, as they’re not always up to good, and get really upset when caught.

Taurus-April 20-May 20: 

Stubborn and strong, Taurians are also reliable and down-to-earth.  Being relied on is what they’re used to, and will be there for you, just like any good friend would.  They won’t always be that willing to do things, though, and may end up quite lazy for it.  Don’t be afraid to let them know that they’re doing so, as these Bulls are willing to make changes when necessary.

Gemini-May 21-June 20:

Not as two-faced as some horoscopes would suggest, Geminis tend to be more inclined towards seeing both sides of the coin.  They don’t really need anyone else to tell them a different version of a story because they already know it.  Sometimes, there can be a bad side, and an angry outburst or bucket of tears will come out when you least expect it.  Show them lots of love and support, and let them know that you love all their parts.

Cancer-June 21-July 22:

Feeling, caring, and giving is this wonderful Crab.  There will be lots of intimacy, and talks of love lost.  Expect to be completely honest with a Cancer, as they’ll expect it from you.  If they become distant and stand-offish, it’s because they aren’t really how to handle all the “feels” they have inside, and it will take a lot of work to get them to open up and let you know how you can help.

Leo-July 23-August 22:

Brash, bold, and brilliant, Leos are definitely the kings of the jungle.  Selfish and sometimes quite stubborn, they’ll let you know if you’re getting in their way: by stepping on you and reaching for something higher.  They do have a loving side, however, and will be hopelessly devoted to you in the most loyal of ways.  Just don’t tell them that they can’t have what they want.  It will be their’s, no matter what.

Virgo-August 23-September 22:

To be exact and careful at every turn is the Virgoan’s way.  They are penetrating and deeply thoughtful, while somewhat aloof and closed off.  Once you get to know a Virgo, they will open up their world to you, and you will see how beautiful of a garden they’ve created inside.  Beware of an overly analytical or cross Virgo, as they haven’t truly addressed those layers that lay beneath.

Libra-September 23-October 22:

Balanced as a matter of course, Libras will always offer the most even-keeled advice.  They will bring to the table a sense of justice and willingness that you may never have seen the likes of.  There is a tendency towards indecisiveness due to they way in which they look at all the angles.  Help guide them along to what they profess they enjoy, and they may love you forever.

Scorpio-October 23-November 21:

Traditionally looked upon as one of the “darker” signs, Scorpios do tend towards some wicked ways.  That’s only because they understand that this world isn’t all ponies and fairy tales.  All light has dark, and Scorpians shine when discussing the harder side of life.  They can be selfish, malignant, and manipulative, but in a way that comes from a true source of desire.  Beware if they find out that you’ve lied or cheated, as they will make you feel a wrath unlike that you’ve ever felt before.

Sagittarius-November 22-December 21:

This wonderful archer will aim straight, and fly his/her arrow directly into your heart.  True and to-the-point, you will never really see a Sagittarius put on airs.  Reliable as well, you can be sure that you’ll have a genuine conversation with one.  They are also ardent, and tend to be deeply experienced.  They will get angry, however, and it might be from something as small as misplacing their keys.

Capricorn-December 22-January 19:

Not really spontaneous, and definitely set in their ways, Capricorns can sometimes be a bit bland.  They are extremely steadfast, however, and will surprise you with their loyalty.  Hard to read sometimes, it’s because vulnerability scares them.  If you can get through the hard exterior, Caps will be your committed lover for life.  Just don’t expect their to be huge roller coasters or drama.

Aquarius-January 20-February 18:

Aquarians aren’t afraid of fun and adventure.  They can find themselves comfortable in any situation because they are in touch with their real selves.  Being open and vulnerable around an Aquarius is as easy as 1-2-3.  The drawback?  Flighty and sometimes fickle, this air sign does actually do a lot of floating through life.  Not necessarily a bad thing, it can just sometimes appear that they don’t really have any sense of purpose.

Pisces-February 19-March 20:

Sensitive and friendly, Piscians tend towards loving easily and freely.  They want to help others and give the benefit of the doubt quite often.  Devoted to their friends, partners, and family, they will steadfastly stand by those things they believe in.  However, they don’t take well to rejection, and will sometimes get extremely wrapped up in appearances.  If you can redirect them back to what they truly love, these beautiful fishes will keep swimming your way for the rest of your life.
